Founded in 1972, Rohwein Electric serves the greater Puget Sound and Kitsap Peninsula regions. Rohwein has broad expertise in the government, commercial, and industrial sectors, particularly new construction, remodel, and maintenance work related to military system upgrades. For 37 years, we have taken pride in providing top quality services and products to our customers. We look forward to continuing and expanding on those relationships as a division of VECA.

VECA Electric and Communications was founded in 1946 by two brothers as many of our country's soldiers were returning home from the battlefields of World War II. Originally known as the Veterans Electrical Contractors Association, the brothers provided the best electrical service in the Northwest. In 1989 the brothers retired and sold the company to Thomas Fairbanks. Knowing the importance of the Veterans Electrical Contractors Association to the dedicated men who served their country in the name of freedom, Tom retained the name, abbreviated as VECA. Now in its 63rd year, VECA continues the tradition of “Installing Confidence” throughout Washington State.

As technology has changed, Rohwein and VECA have stayed on the cutting edge. Communication and Wireless divisions complement our electrical expertise. Our design staff uses the latest BIM and CADD tools to allow us to tackle any type of project. And since electricity is such a key element of Green building, we have LEED certified staff.
